The last episode wasn't filler. There isn't filler in Dragon Ball Super, since the anime and manga were being developed simultaneously. In fact, at a certain point it was the manga the one that was catching up to the anime, instead of the other way around.

I'll just come out and say this. There's no filler in DBS. because anime is manga independent. It even went beyond manga at one point of time. They've different Power scaling too.

There is technically no filler The manga follows it’s own path but both have the same ending and beginning. Toei Animation and Toyotaro write their own story with directions from Toriyama.

Honestly even if its in your own time watch the battle of gods movie after this its pacing is leagues better and the animation for the fight scenes obviously had a bigger budget plus I fell like berrus was Handeld even better in the movie

Fun fact: This episode had the WORSE animation of all the Serie, early Dbsuper had alot of issues with animation, but keep going they get better over time, ALOT better. it became a meme most of the frames of the fight against Beerus is well know. LMAO but still a good episode.

Honestly, we both think people seem to really nitpick at the animation especially when there is WAY worse out there! We’ve watched 20+ episodes so far and love it!

@@ProjectSenpai i think it kinda depends on some frames! In this episode in specific is more noticeable. And if im not mistaken they got 13 animators!. EVEN Toriyama complained about this animation on the Dragon Ball 30th Anniversary book! Glad to hear guys are so far away now! im about to pick the patreon later this month so lets goooo!

@@ProjectSenpai so they actually ended up correcting a lot of the animation that came out. When the episode first aired it was 1000x worse but they rereleased the episode(due to the community trashing it) and made it a lot better, Which is what you just saw here

I usually like sub on all animes but dragon ball Z speicifcally i prefer the dub version, idk if its only me but i can’t stand goku’s voice actor in sub
