Master Roshi didn't just take Jackie Chan's name, he also took the Drunken Fist martial art used in several of his movies, a style which literally imitates the moves of a drunkard to make their moves practically unpredictable

Jackie Chan also was doing monkey style kung fu in some of his movies. I'm pretty sure it's in his "Drunken Master" ones as well (which are the movies, where he is using the drunken fist).

13:28 it's more than just a move its a fighting style like when Rock Lee fights against Kimimaro (fights with his bone guy) he was using Drunken fist. Also, a Jackie Chan movie called Druken Master also featured Drunken Fist.

I can't remember if in the Manga it explains that martial arts masters are not allowed to participate in fighting competitions, and that's also another reason why Roshi is in disguise

Both pronunciations of Kamehameha are correct. When its being mentioned in conversation its said all at once and sounds kind of like kameyameya. When it's actually being used in combat it is said slower as the user builds up energy like so Kame...Hame....Ha!

Even if is true that Goku didn't practiced the Kamehameha when his training time... he earned a lot of strenght and "ki" on his trainings... making him able to sucess that bigger and stronger Kamehameha. (is like when he just jumped and discovered he was able now to jump over the clouds). About the Drunken fist technique, is a well recogniced technique of Jackie Chan old movies... So... There is Akira Toriyama honouring Jackie Chan again with his Master character disguised as Jackie Chun... ;)

スージーは悟空が好きすぎるあまり、気持ちも入ってジャッキー(亀仙人)は勝てないだろうと安易に下げた見方をしていますが、亀仙人と悟空では経験値が大きく違う事も頭に入れなければなりません。亀仙人の思惑として、悟空達の壁にならないといけないという信念がありますし、そう簡単にやられるつもりは無い。師匠と弟子ではあるのですが、実際のトレーニングで手合わせをした事は無いので、これが初めての亀仙人と悟空の手合わせなんですよね。

Kamehame it's a technique that costs 40 years to truly master. Roshi's kame was not at full potential, that would have killed the whole stadium
