Like to see the inside of the battery. I got the one without the smart BMS, but it performed well using a portable AC unit. Good review.

I got one of those and tested it for two weeks, a really nice battery. We gave it away to a channel subscriber. Probably should have kept it 🤦🏻

I still have it hooked up to my diy power station and it works perfectly. We'll see in a year or two. Good entry level emergency option though.

@TheBrokenNomad I looked, he didn't have anything on this one. I'd like to see what he says about them.

Glad you did it this video since I’m looking in to getting batteries for a couple different setups.

I'm pretty suprized how cool it is. I love the battery monitor.

Plenty of 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries with Bluetooth for 2/3 the price on Amazon. And the battery monitor is a gimmick and ripoff since you can just use the Bluetooth on your phone.

@@TheBugOutLocation Beg to differ. As the previous poster said, these are not a good deal for your standard cheap Chinese imports. Bluetooth eliminates most of the need for the battery monitor.
@jammerwv Жыл бұрын
@@hicapengrs so in a situation where Bluetooth isn’t available it would be nice to see it on the battery. Do we really need to get out our phones to see how much battery we have? Might as well get out a voltmeter. Cool feature but I would rely on it.
@hicapengrs Жыл бұрын
But at this point, why wouldn't Bluetooth be available. I just checked Amazon and without event trying I found three batteries with Bluetooth for right around $200 or even less. One I found had a $15 coupon bringing it to $185 with Bluetooth. Why would someone pay over $100 more for the same basic Chinese battery you are peddling here? There is absolutely nothing special about it, including the gimmicky monitor on the top. A volt meter? Seriously? Everyone is on their phones these days, it is no big deal to open up an app to see that status of the battery. And batteries like this today are cheap cheap cheap...if you are relying on it hardcore then you are making a mistake anyway.@@jammerwv

I built a couple of my own batteries. Half the reason was because I wanted more information out of the BMS. If I ever again need something pre-assembled then I'll look at this one. The other half of the reason is that no manufactured battery has the proper compression to maximize cell life.
