Use templ they said use htmx they said it will be so fun. Well after I node run build go mod tidy templ generate go generate go build with tags I'll be all set. Theres like 3 distinct hotreloaders I need to setup lol, hoping I can just use air and maybe templ for that.

@@remotract6726 no sometimes you need more localized behavior with javascript. For example I did a range with two handles as aplinejs component. Then the form submit and resulting html from response gets swapped with htmx.

HTMX Bugs: How do we use transitions? Its pretty easy to set up, but if you scroll down and then the transition takes place, it scrolls up plus the transition. Very disorienting. How do you manage page caching? Coz the partial can get fetched from cache by the browser and that obliterates CSS styling. Sorry for calling them bugs, I just need help.

Hey man, this looks awesome. I've been working as a Java Full Stack dev for almost 2 years now (first job as a dev), and I've been losing interest in the field, since any personal project takes too long to start. For someone who has never seen anything in Go, but has a dev experience, do you recommend me to start with the Golang course, or start with this one directly? Thanks btw 🙏🏻

@@anthonygg_ thanks for confirming! I'm a frontender and building some projects in Go/Templ/HTMX, and it's the only thing I feel is lacking. I'm so happy to be moving away from the frontend stack, but UI testing is something that is really solid (i.e. Cypress, React Testing Library, etc).

My current strat is to have view models, so that the data I pass into the templ components is as close as I can to render the HTML. In that sense, there is very minimal logic in the templates themselves, and I can run tests/get coverage from the view models I pass in. But, I do feel like I'm testing implementation details, rather than the final behaviour of the UI, which is really what I want to be testing.
