Jim, Easily one of our best videos. I especially like how you opened with a teaching moment about the currents, cuts, soft sand, etc. Very informative. I know it's hard to put down the 900 but I think you are going to have force yourself to use the Deus II 100% of the time. It's tough, we all have been through this with changing detectors. When I got my Legend I kept bringing my 800 along and ended up using it because I knew it so well. I finally had to decide to leave it a home and force myself to use the Legend. I'm glad I did. I recently had to switch back to my 800 because my Legend had to go in for service. Now it was the reverse! I didn't want to use the 800! Yeah, I guess we detectorists are all a little bit nuts. Maybe we'll meet up one day. Until then, thanks for taking the time to shoot, edit and post your videos. I look forward to every Thursday because of them! Bill

I 99% of the time where i hunt those low tones are trash or blobs. Gets old digging them. Never found any good stuff in the wet over here. Great finds for the day 👍🏼😁 hard to complain about gold and silver finds. Keep the luck rollin Jim 🤞🏼🍀

Are you afraid of bums that hang out on the beach at night?

No, I am more afraid of walking up on wild animals (snakes, skunks, etc...) than any humans. Also my beach scoop is a great tool for defense if needed. But I know my beaches really well, I also have been detecting for almost 40 years so I notice if something is not normal and adjust locations if needed.
