The one regret I have is buying four rolls of quarters from that big online bullion dealer. I got stiffed with about a roll of very smooth very light SLQ's that were mixed in with the 4 rolls of "average circulated" quarters. We are talking 20% of their weight was gone. So a significant amount. I only buy my 90% from my LCS now.

@@StatesideStash nah. That one with bullion in the name. When I bought them I didn't know any better. It wasn't until months later I realized the issue. They gave me a good deal on tubes of maples and a decent deal on fractional gold, but the 90% rolls were not average circulated coins. It was too late by the time I figured it out to call them and complain so I just refined them and turned them into 9999 silver crystals with a silver cell.
@russelldavidson84175 ай бұрын
I started out very lost and made decisions that I later found weren't to my liking. So I sold it all off focused on what I truly enjoyed holding and researching. I decided to ignore the "stacker" and embrace the historical collector in me. I have a WW2 homefront collection. Including walkers, mercs, coin bracelets sent back to loved ones with inscriptions, etc. I also collected the shell casing lincoln cents, war nickels, short snorters, etc. So yes, there's lots of silver in my collection, but other stuff, too. Like sterling silver star pins for the sons serving, forget me not inscribed bracelets for Christmas, valentines Day, and fathers Day. There's something magical to hand over a coin to a non coin person and describe that year of 1814. The white house is in ashes, capital hill is in rubble, New Orleans has 5500 professional british troops coming ashore. It's pretty easy to imagine when holding a coin that was there! Yes, its silver, or copper, yes its got value, but it tells a story. That shiny bullion round just doesn't grab my attention like a dusty, beat-up coin that's 210 years old. So, I stack historical metals, usually circulated or close to cull. I'll get ms65 or ms66 in the first types, but my love is the survivor coin. The coin that has a square hole from a square nail. The coin with two holes in the middle from a homemade toy for a child from long ago. My choices aren't the most profitable, but I always have a coin on me to share a cool story with a stranger. I've even carried a wildman thaler, just to ask if they knew Bigfoot had a coin from 1664. So that's my stacking perspective, right or wrong, it's very much close to my heart. Hope this inspires a new collector that doesn't know what to do.

@@StatesideStash Can't wait for those bro....I know it will be good. As for me I'm still roll hunting for that 1950 D Nickel, some teases today with a couple war nickels that I promptly took out of circulation, but 52's and 53's and 57's......I feel I'm getting close.

NO NO NO! Dont do it.. I will never buy junk silver / constitutional silver ever. Nobody knows what the hell it is and people will look at you sideways trying to buy something with a dime nickel or quarter lol you have to convince them that it's worth something and they're not going to be convinced in a SHTF scenario. Stick to the nice shiny silver rounds and coins that say 1 oz 999 find silver. You don't have to convince people what it is because it says what it is and it's nice and shiny not dirty shity looking coins. Trust me bro don't do it. I'll tell you what the 90% silver stands for, it stands for 90% of people don't know what the f*** it is..

We must run in different circle cause I’ve never had a problem buying/selling or discussing constitutional silver with anyone. I remember you saying in past videos you don’t like it but many many people do

Another thing, in the SHTF situation, people are going to learn about precious metals very quickly or they won't survive. The people that don't understand 90% will learn very quickly.

People who don't understand 90% also don't know what the heck a generic round or an American silver eagle is either. Also, You can refine old silver coins into bars and rounds but you cant do vice versa. 90% is getting rarer as time goes by
