The way in which traditional Myriadism evolved and splintered with the addition of new holy texts, and the way in which different interpretations of the same scripture lead to wildly different world views is both intriguing and realistic

I just want to say, I played an entire campaign as a character based off the original Gold and Bone video where he used gold in order to cast spells. Super happy how it turned out and thank you so much for the information!

Love that the scism feels referenced by the project title. One sect's focus on riches and the other's focus on the self is reflective of the phrase Gold & Bone.

I'm noticing a pattern with some of the names. Both the names of the prophet from myriadism and the ornata start with the "or" sound, and the spelling of the prophet's name, Aurelian starts similarly to the French word for gold aurum (or-um). I don't know if this means anything but it's just something I noticed.
@TheSmolBritАй бұрын
I wish I was that clever! It's because the word Ornata means "gilded" or "decorated" in Latin haha.

Love using the name of the Prophet, Dionizas, to name the religion. It is the way we do it here. Dionizm sounds more sensible than Myriadism to me. Also, Dionizas' teachings were heresy, not blasphemy. Perhaps he was a blasphemer but his theological break from the orthodoxy was heresy.
@TheSmolBrit2 ай бұрын
Myriadism is the original religion, the Dionian Sects are an offshoot!
@Patrick-nl4zp2 ай бұрын
@@TheSmolBrit Yes sorry I did understand that. I was attempting to compare the two styles of naming together. Didn't mean to come off as critical I loved the video!
