I grow a vegetable garden every year as a military exercise. I don't grow nearly enough to live on. I definitely can't grow potatoes well enough to live on those. I grow purple and red corn, which people know as ornamental corn, but that ornamental Indian corn is actually for making bread. I do the three sisters planting corn beans and squash. There's a lot of trade knowledge involved in getting vegetables out of the ground that took me 20 years to develop. There's a lot of unwanted vegetation on the side of the road. That can be soaked in water for example in an above-ground pool and you'll get liquid fertilizer out of it. The vegetation will be dead after it's been soaked so it won't regrow so you can put it on top of your soil as a mulch. You put your plants in the gaps between the mulch because you don't want bare soil. In the winter you want to burn dry grass/brush/wood on the garden because the ashes will make your soil more alkaline. Anyone with a wood stove, throw all ashes on your garden. Pest bugs like Colorado potato beetles and cucumber beetles can be picked off by hand. Spray liquid calcium on tomato plants when the plants are flowering and fruiting to prevent blossom end rot. Democrats make good slaves as long as you don't spare the rod and be sure to feed them at least 1,000 calories a day.

Yeah, brokerage AdvisoRs could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of investors raking in 6 to 7 digits in a space of months. So, I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2020, and the least I returned was $140k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

People are looking at the dollar as if it's a one for one exchange. It takes two dollars today to get the buying power of one dollar from 25 years ago. So, gold being at $2,500 doesn't really mean anything. The value of gold hasn't gone up. The value of the dollar has gone down. For thousands of years the value of gold has been constant when priced in gold.

This is way higher than the CPI calculation of 3670% from the 1860 value. To calculate the rate from 1939, divide 1.67 into 37.90. The reason prices are not much higher is the efficiencies of production by people who actually "produce" things.

Peter's pitch for gold stocks doesn't make sense. He says they are greatly undervalued, but then he admits many of them missed on earnings due to rising costs. Where does our money come from is the real question and the answer is the banks. Banks create money by the very act of lending it out, not just to the govt but to everyone, whether citizens and businesses in the private sector or to the govt in the public sector which then doles it out to military companies or through subsidies. For the prices of the miners you have to factor in any rise in the price of oil. If oil and gold are rising together then the miners are not going to pop. Petroleum is one of the largest inputs for miners and the price of gold.

My main concern with miners is the rising costs of production. In past crisis’ it wasn’t an inflationary issue but there were existential issues. I think this is why miners are priced the way they are compared to gold spot. If costs rise slower than spot price margins could still expand, this could be what the markets missing.
