I remember my dad singing this to me as a baby. Still at 36 I still catch myself walking around singing it

My Dad use to sing this to me as a child and beyond a shadow of doubt I will see with my Dad who is already up there in Heaven seeing all John saw exactly the same John saw

Ivan Parker is the sharpest dresser in gospel music, I think.

It also helped that he was a perfect rack! They hung on him like a store mannequin! And the frame never changed in 40 years. Then add in his gentle humble nature, makes a very attractive picture to watch while he sings wonderful beautiful songs to our Savior!

I think they're talking about Ivan Parker, who is actually American Indian.

To me it sounds as if there are horns there. I think it's the guitar player hitting the low register. Can any musicians out there comment? Thank you.
@tom469704 жыл бұрын
No horns, as they are using their live band here and not tracks. Just a piano, drums, bass guitar, steel guitar, and electric guitar. I think I’m picking up on what you’re hearing though and it is coming from the electric guitar.
@johnmajcher5726 Жыл бұрын
Thank you, Tom. Now I get it. I was remembering a comment from Blue Lou Marini saying in one Blues Brothers scene there were 4 horns heard, but only 3 shown. Not being a musician, I could not hear it. Thanks for clearing this up exactly.

Why did he flash devil horns at the beginning? Don't try to tell me he's a long horns fan and he just thought of his team while he should have been thinking about God. It saddens me because I grew up with this music, but now I see the truth.
@hunterulrich61055 жыл бұрын
It's quick. They're just performers for money like going to Branson, mo. It's sad because they quote and act, but they just aren't.
