There's nothing wrong with the circuit, all the drivers know where the danger points are, but racing drivers are racing drivers, when the visors go down they're all looking for that fraction of a second or the chance to put a move on the next car up the road. Motor racing is dangerous, it's written all over your ticket when you go to these events, and Surfers illustrates exactly why it is, because pushing the envelope can put you in the wall. At least Surfers almost always sees the drivers walk away and all that gets hurt is the car and the team's wallet. What makes this kind of racing so addictive to watch and to be a part of is the fact that it is a knife edge and an adrenaline rush. When motor racing becomes boring it will die, as NASCAR is finding out...
