GOLD COAST WE'RE COMING AT YA! | Living aboard a sailboat S1CH.8

This week living aboard a boat has brought us right into the heart of the Gold Coast. Our outboard has broken down, leaving us floating away in the current, luckily we get saved by a fellow yachty but are stuck on the boat in the rain until it's fixed. We extend our DIY abilities and attempt to fix the outboard, with not much luck each time... We bounce around different anchorages on the Gold Coast and South Stradbroke Island, Tipplers Resort.

When you are not using the outboard motor tilt it out of the salt water to prevent barnacles inside the water jacket.

Slim whack a bit more oil in the fuel mixture,sounds like it’s running dry=lack of lubrication,I’ve got the exact same outboard,I run 50/1 with a dash extra,when it’s smoky it’s good.cheers for vid guys.
