@@sailingpopao side note- 1) do you know what your davits are capacity rated for and weight of solar and tender you are at (I'm installing an arch and trying to plan how much I can throw at it, lame supplier won't give a # max) 2) Do you have a worldwide site we can use here in California (& Mexico) to help find good fishing holes, please? Clearly you two know exactly where to go in Oz (you're content is fantastic!). And, if we wanna buy gear (spear to wetsuits) do you have a store so we can somehow support you with our, albeit small, purchases?

Not sure what the davits are rated for but we had to add extra support and beef up the transom (full vid in the refit episodes) but the tender is about 71kg, engine 42kg + 20kg for fuel, solar is 36kg for the two panels. The main apps we use to find dive spots are navionics and google maps, look for areas that catch the current, sharp changes in bottom structure. Otherwise our c-map reveal charts really show more than your standard chart. As far as gear we don’t have any affiliate links but can recommend the Riffe gear we use, quality stuff from a great family. Otherwise James and Joseph in Cali can help you out with gear. I'm just jaded because 95% of Sailing channels models for survival seem to be selling something (fair play to them, but not always beneficial for a viewer due to financial bios) Sorry to have taken up your time with an inconsequential unsub post, but you already had my respect for the entertainment, so felt it correct to let you know. I'll most defiantly check in again though, even if just for all those mouth watering fish.
