her coughing is her lungs trying to expel the anesthesia that she was administered. If she doesnt cough she can end up with pneumonia. Shes in for a rude awakening when it comes time to physically walk so she doesnt get blood clots and so forth. Oh did i mention she will have to sleep sitting up for a short while.

@Pizza Rolls Med student here, there is a chance of getting a deep vein thrombosis(blood clot) and pneumonia after surgery, which is why you want to start walking as early as possible after a surgery. You don't want to overdo it, but you should start as early as possible. Hospitals will encourage patients to walk around after surgery for this reason. She will have to either sleep sitting up for awhile, or sleep on her back with her head and shoulders elevated, as that will help reduce swelling. Since she got breast implants, it's important that there is no pressure on them because they could move or rupture.

My dad’s parents slept in separate beds their entire lives. My grandma said it was because Pop moved too much at night. So for as long as I could remember, and until they passed, they had two twin beds pushed together made up with separate linens to keep Pop from stealing P-ma’s covers or his moving shaking her bed frame and such. It wasn’t really my Pop’s fault; he had Huntington’s disease so the jerking and moving was just part of the disease, he couldn’t help it.

As someone who is 5'4"with natural 36DDD at 20 and unfortunately getting bigger. it is horrible and I don't know why anyone would want that size or bigger. They have caused me nothing but back, shoulder pain and money. Sometimes I have to hold them up with my hands or rest them on something just to get some relief. It's super hard to find bras in that size or bigger without them being at least $80.

Yup!!! I'm not quite that big but I have a small band size. I'm D/DD depending on the weight I'm at at the time (surprisingly, when I lose weight it's when I get to DD..) You cannot find inexpensive bras AT ALL for any band size lower than 34 or 36. I mostly just wear sports bras to save money. I wouldn't wish this on anyone!!!

I just want to say that sleeping separate doesn’t mean someone isn’t in love. If you live alone, then you do get to stay, somewhere until you’re safe to go home. I ended up in a skilled nursing facility until I was strong enough to use a walker. It is weird that they expect your partner to know how to nurse you until you’re ok again.

Replying super late. I guess it depends. I had to get kidney stones removed not too long ago, which was pretty minor but I still had to be put under. Most of the care my bf had to do for me was helping me walk to the bed and bathroom, getting me food and water and picking up medicines from the pharmacy for me. (It was only for like, a day in my case.) So I guess if it's stuff like that him helping her would be fine. But comparing Eric's caring for her verses my bf's, I really don't think he loves her very much. That's just my two cents, though.

It does sound like you’re sick or something and you have a lot of junk in your throat but it’s just from the breathing tube going down your throat and then the anesthesia they mix with the oxygen that’s breathing for you while you’re asleep. And like that with the combination of you laying down on your back completely flat for the procedure and stuff it makes the anesthesia kind of linger in your lungs and when you wake up you automatically start coughing.

My grandparents actually have been married for over 50 years and they started sleeping in separate beds around the 25 year mark because they had different needs for their back. They are in the same room, and the beds are close enough for them to reach over and hold hands, and they are the most loving old couple I've ever known. My boyfriend and I are somewhat similar, where often we'll cuddle until I fall asleep and he'll get up to do work, and when he's done he will sleep in a different bed a lot of the time to make sure he doesn't wake me. Usually if I wake up before him and it's about time for him to get up I'll find him for some early morning snuggles to wake him up. I think as long as the relationship is strong sleeping in different beds is alright, in this case with Larissa probably not.

Yep, when the surgeon is not skilled and delicate enough, there will be a lot of tissue damage and bleeding that will need to be drained out with tubes inserted in your wounds x_x Breast surgery is a big deal.

I had drains after I got implants, surgery was on Monday and I had them removed Friday so it wasnt that bad. I didn't need any assistance at all. The first day after surgery is the worst, by the weekend I was driving and going out shopping.

I was worried about the drains and the bruises, but my surgeon told me that would only happen if the surgery results in a lot of internal trauma and bleeding, and that he doesn't operate like that (I don't mean to insult your surgeon! Just telling my experience ahah) and indeed, I had no drains and no bruising. like, at all. what I saw after taking my bandages off was what I see today:) and the result was perfect. The difference is my pain went on for a few weeks after the surgery, because my implants were sub-muscular, and I have a very small frame so my muscles got stretched a lot. Couldn't use my arms at all nor stand straight for a week or two. Every body is different, anyone considering this procedure please do a lot of research!
