Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.
Check your local regulations, as each state and territory is different, before you travel into or though NP with your dog. Here is the Parks Victoria website for those of you wishing to read up on Victoria's laws 👉 www.parks.vic....

ArtifaXtreme has two different tone modes. The high tone is better for small stuff, can pick out the signal very easy. However the lower tone seems to work better for both larger nuggets and coins, allowing you to distinguish between things like pull tabs and gold.

Sweet tool of choice, i was trying to find my hot spot with dousing rods...that needed some calibrations as well. Great to hear that there are people like Wendy out there and good luck on the next detecting.

Hey mate good video. Just a tip, at 6:50 you can see how much strain is on your coil cable. Make sure you wind the cable over the top of the lower shaft - this will reduce any stress. Happy hunting

You probably already have`t, the five inch coil, will work so well on those small creeks.

Hi great video, Im thinking about getting a detector and im not sure whether to go for the Makro Gold Racer detector (the one used in the video) or the Gold Monster 1000 for finding gold, both seem like really good machines but im not sure which is best? I think what Rastaman said was, that he have found a 7grams piece of gold (jewellery, nugget?) that he want to test it for gold, and then the question goes, how much is a gold test kit? you know, the ones with different bottles, 10k, 14k, 18k, 22k , to check the gold karats! Found my first gold nugget with an XP deus and the 9"HF coil!! woooohooo!! was on a +2000 years old diggings, by the Romans! The spot is on a mountain top, far from the River big size workings, with many channels and very big water holes, still trying to figure it out how it worked!
