The days are getting longer here in Tasmania, and that means more time for bigger gold adventures, with daylight savings just around the corner. The dryer weather means access to some of my best gold deposits which have been found in larger rivers in Tasmania.
Its time to dust off the packraft and load it up with all the necessary tools, camp gear and equipment for a couple of epic days in the bush. Joining me on this mission will be fellow adventurer Rob Parsons as we work our way upstream on a massive river in Tasmania.
We'll be searching for new gold deposits and then on day two heading back to a gold deposit that has scored us ounces of gold from past adventures. The location is renowned for larger gold nuggets and we'll be on the hunt for more while soaking up the incredible surrounds and beauty this river has to offer.

Interesting news, Russia has decided to move it's monetary system back to the Gold Standard. Despite their global standing, this will have a trickle down effect with every country in which they're associated with. Not a bad effect either. After decades of gold being devalued on the stock market, I will expect it to go up in price. I also expect that America will follow suit in the coming year or two. Oil tycoons go reeeeeee!

In England there's a fish that looks like that one called a stone loach otherwise known as a hairy gob because it has whiskers but I'm not sure if that's the same because it was quite a bit bigger. What a great way to wake up having a coffee to another one of these mint videos watching you back out there getting all that lovely shiny. Cheers you two 👍❤️💛💚

Please, KEEP going Levi. Your adventures are my adventures. Each and every video is exactly what I would have absolutely loved to have done at your age. If I hadn't been disabled in an accident in my late teens. So I feel like I'm alongside sniping up the gold with you. So PLEASE, PLEASE keep doing what you're doing Levi. I used to love going camping when I was younger (early 80's). I even freaked out my parents when I was about 6yrs old, by disappearing for three days and nights while on holiday on an island off the west coast of Ireland. Which we did for three months every summer since I 6mths old. I'd gone on an expedition to circumnavigate the island. Which is 7km long by 1.5km wide. Was in trainers, shorts and Tshirt with a plastic 1pint bottle on a string around my waist. I had the island map and knew how to snare rabbits and light a fire and there were dipping wells marked on the map. It took me 3 days and nights and when I got home all hell had broken out. Apparently half the fishing fleet of the island and the RNLI boat and dozens of volunteers had been searching land and sea for me. My mother was beside herself in tears and my dad was fuming mad. Needless to say I wasn't sitting comfortably for a while after that adventure. 😅 😅😅

I never get sick of watching these videos and our Tassy Australian bush is so lush and green. I love the tree ferns or as Tassies call them man ferns. You would have seen some beauties. Awww dude, if you ever feel like it's not worth it for you then by all means stop making videos but I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's you I watch the videos for, you're such an amazing person! Your videos are always the right amount of everything, I love the journey to and from the locations, the fact you'll see something stunningly beautiful and cool and stand there and admire it so we can too, like if you were to go do something else it would have to be nature and history documentaries that's how good your videos have been and gotten. But yeah, make a video of you doing the chores around the house or sorting out the garden cause you're the real treasure in any of the videos, especially around your family and friends. I would never ever everrrrr want to stop enjoying this channel unless it was in your best interests it had to stop. You're a true gem of KZbin man, we're all incredibly lucky to have stumbled across someone so dedicated to producing such amazingly high quality content, you're just an absolute legend and I love you so much for it! Thanks for everything you've done so far 💜

Is gold really worth it to buy ? In terms of the short term considering taxes and overall cost of upfront purchase then trying to resell when I actually need the liquidity, is physical or gold stocks more worth the cost ? Because it seems to be when people speak of gold their not being specific to the short term or Long term approach to justifying the purchase. Let me know your thoughts , thanks anyone

Only worth it for your long long term investment, short term a guaranteed loss. It's all manipulated and so is Mike bias on gold because that's his business. Always keep that in perspective.

Gold is often seen as a safe-haven asset that can protect against inflation and economic uncertainty. But like any investment, it carries risks. To determine if gold is the right investment option for you, an investment advisor can help you weigh the potential benefits and risks of investing in gold. They can also help you create a well-diversified portfolio that includes gold as part of a broader investment strategy. An investment advisor can help you decide how much of your portfolio should be allocated to gold and select other investments that can complement your gold holdings.

Kills me to think what it would be like running a 6” dredge down there! Never let the man get you down. It’s inspiring to see your adventures! There are very few places left in the world where gold like that can be found, just by sniping. Your documentation of these experiences is invaluable and just a true inspiration to the rest of us. Despite living in gold country in California, I have never found more than an Oz in a day. And that was only one time. The good days average about a half Oz in a day. But many days are only a few grams. Many of the areas here have been dredged extensively in the ‘80’s and ‘90’s, so good spots are either spots they missed or spots that were buried when they came through.

Your editing is great and the mix of nature, camping, drone shots is really well done. Also tends to have a story line and a few philosophical reflections to help me appreciate my own life without being overblown. Been eating for a year now and love it. One thing I’ve always wondered… have you ever been editing videos and seen some gold that you missed while prospecting?

Well I'm a bit slow in watching this video Levi & Rob but the enjoyment i get from that beautiful Tasmanian wilderness is still as good. And it's a bonus to see you two get a nice haul of the yellow for all the effort & time you put in to bring us terrific videos. I wouldn't be surprised if one of those quartz leaders just keeps going down & is absolutely loaded with gold. This video has truly lifted my spirits & put a smile on my face after a week in hospital with an eye injury from a shattered cutting disc. Thanks for what you do fellas it is appreciated.👍.

I love watching these videos, when the light hits the rocks,it looks like gold all around. The quarts veins is what they look for in caves too. They say the gold and quarts hang on together. Love it!
