Excellent demonstration by Rolf.... I spent time panning in the Yukon with my Father (George Alfred) back in in 1988 and well remember the thrill of seeing first the black sands and then your first colors... Europe has a lot of gold prospects for you Jason - hopefully you will make the UK on one of your trips... I see Rolf still offers the Henderson pump on his site.....

It's interesting watching his method vs. watching Dan's videos...both methods seem to work great. I'm sure each person personalizes their own panning methods to best suit them, but he did a wonderful job of explaining it all. I have never panned for gold, but it's definitely something that I'm interested in!!

You should go. They have a great camp site right next to the panning area. I was there last year and i hope to go there again this year if my son wants to come with me. Its a great place.
