Customs duty charge తగ్గిస్తే కొంతలో కొంత తగ్గుముఖం పట్టొచ్చు, శిక్షలు కూడా పెంచితే ఇంక కొంచెం తగ్గుతుంది స్మగ్లింగ్ ప్రాబ్లమ్స్ కి సొల్యూషన్స్ వేతకరు మన దగ్గర చాలా వరకు. మనకు ఇదంతా చాలా మామూలు విషయం🤷🏻‍♂️

Men 20 gms and women 30 gms without custom charges.. but still the authorities insist us to pay duty 😢

You have to declare that you are getting 20gms on the form given in the aeroplane by the air hostess before landing. Once you do that and have the purchase bill then, they have no rights to ask for additional money.

Ornaments no limit, you can wear as much as you have and coin or biscuits are limited 20g for men and 40g for women. But there could be chance of stopping by customs for mamyamya!!!

Strictly speaking you have to declare what all you are taking while going abroad. While coming back to India, anything not declared , they can say you bought it outside - pay customs duty. However since it is not practical/time consuming to declare everything, customs officials let go reasoable amounts of common jewelry. For e.g. mangal sutra, bangles, small chains etc.

దీని నైతే కట్టడి చేస్తామో అది బ్లాక్ మార్కెట్ కి అనుసంధానమై విపరీత డిమాండ్ ఏర్పాటు అవుతుంది... ధర పెరిగి పోతుంది. అవసరం అనుకుంటే తప్ప దేనికి కట్టడి చేయ కూడదు... ఇంపోర్ట్ ఫ్రీ మార్కెట్, ఎక్స్పోర్ట్ కండిషన్ తో అనుసందానం వలన ధరల పెరుగుదల ఉండదు.. ప్రభుత్వం కొంత మంది చేతులో(కార్పొరేట్) అదేదో ....బొమ్మ.. అంటారు

బంగారం మన దేశం లోకి టెస్తే లాభం ఎక్కువ తపితే ఏమిలేదు, గాని కస్టమ్స్ వాళ్ళు ఆదాయం కోసం, తెచ్చుకునే వాడి దాంట్లో వాటా, అంతే.2010 వరకు బంగారం కి లిమిట్ లేకుండా తెచ్చుకునే వారు. ఇప్పుడు దారి వేరు, మత పిచ్చ, దేశద్రోహం, మనోభావం,😄😄

Is this misleading by saying that 40 gms can be carried without any tax by female. Today my wife and daughters who travelled from Malaysia to Visakhapatnam took less than 30 gms and they were forced to pay customs duty on all of that gold. My wife and kids (3 female) had no option other than allowing them to seize that 70 gms of gold as we believe BBC will never mislead. So, someone from BBC, please help us know how to claim our gold legally back

తొక్కలో క్వాలిటీ న్యూస్. తప్పుడు ఇన్ఫర్మేషన్ ఇచ్చి జనాల్ని పిచ్చివాళ్ళని చేస్తున్నారు. 40 గ్రాముల వరకు టాక్స్ లేకుండా ఆడవారు తీసుకొని వెళ్లవచ్చని చెప్తే నమ్మి మోసపోయాం.
