Gold Prospecting in a New Hidden Mountain creek. Great Result!

In todays Gold Mining video join Dad and I as we head up with the Goldmonster, GPX and other gear into a brand new unexplored section of this mountain claim! We had to scale a ridge line to get access and were unsure if there was going to be any good gold, but sure enough it was not long until we got onto some targets and ended up walking away with some great nuggets!

It was only about 100 metres round the corner down, so likely just happened to be a larger one washed up, it was quite alluvial as well, the average size would likely be larger further up but still smaller bits throughout, can’t wait to test it again. Cheers, Thanks for watching!

That would be so much fun. We used to have free range access to the land here in Louisiana then greed and the rich took it away for hunting clubs so no more metal detecting, camping, hiking, hunting, foraging, fishing or trapping for normal people. Even our LAKES are being taken away and there`s ZERO access to creeks now. To fish on the lake I grew up on now costs several thousand a year for a tiny area in the lake...something like a 30 meter square area on GPS...so no more fishing or boating there.

Hey Sluicers thank you always enjoy your content - I have a question does the 6000 give signals over the GM as i notice you swing both over a target when located in other words has the 6000 picked up and the GM does not?

Cheers thanks heaps! Glad you like the videos. The 6000 will go a lot deeper on gold it can pickup compared to the gold monster however it can’t pick up flake sized pieces below 0.02 of a gram (which the gold monster can), and the gold monster and equinox as they are VLF can discriminate and give you information on whether your target is likely to be gold when the GPX can’t, as a whole the gpx goes deeper though as would be expected of a machine that cost 5X as much. It is highly illegal in nz to just head at into the bush eg Doc Land and just help yourself. Doing so on You Tube is simply promoting illegal prospecting and mining in N Z. Fines for not having the appropriate permits in place can be up to $400,000.00 . This has come to the attention of NZPAM Recently.

This is very true. However you will find they are either on private land and have the land owners permission to look around or they are on a private claim and have the claim owners permission. These guys are very knowledgeable on the prospecting and mining laws in New Zealand.

We have had meetings with the New Zealand crown minerals enforcement team and ensure everything we do is fully legal. If you had watched the video you would see the statement that this was a back end of a claim. I appreciate your concern here however it’s totally out of line and not an issue here. Cheers
