I just subscribed. You must also watch Ask Jeff Williams too. He says the same thing about making sure that your test pan is real clean. If your finding that much gold there I would say to file a claim on it. It shouldn't cost you much and you should do real good on that spot because you were finding a lot of shiny for so little paydirt. BTW I'm also a prosecutor here in Washington state

Thank you for subscribing.. In the province I live in Alberta no claiming allowed. All you need is a license. Biggest problem with the river I prospect on is the access. Thank goodness I have a great friend with river property. Yes think everone knows Jeff, he's a great guy. Thanks for watching and your comment. CGP 👍🇨🇦👍

Nice video Kevin. Got my head scratching to over how the top layer is holding the most gold. Get your highbanker set up on that gravel bar.

Like I said in the video.. its hard digging.. would definitely need steel toe boots(something with a hard sole) Will have to wait and see...

Cool man, I liked seeing how the speck count changed. Surprised the rusty bottom layer did the worst. Everyone always says to look for the rusty layers.

@Chris Lilly You know I was very surprised as well, could of sworn I tested the rusty level years ago and seemed good.. must of had a contaminated pan 🤣😂🤣😂 Thanks for watching and your comment.

Nice spot you play on...I did want to point out one thing though...if your test panning you can classify right into your Garrett Super Sluice gold pan and save your self some time and a step with the bucket's use. As you said you want to find gold you need to move more dirt. Saving time also moves more dirt. 👍 Have a good one.
@CanadianGoldProspector5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Wayne, your absolutely correct. I use that set up a lot when in BC.. I'll try that out next time out see if I get the same cleaning..as I have the ability to wash the gravels better. Thanks for watching and your comment.

Thanks Jerry. Test ,test, test, it's the only way to find out.. But at least there's always gold to be found, just knowing where to target next time out will be beneficial. 😎🍺🍺

How do I find the Canadian laws about gold panning and prospecting? (I am from the US)
