Really like that title... Want more gold...move more dirt. At the end of the day, there is no success in gold prospecting without persistence, no matter which method. That's my experience in Alaska, in my home country Switzerland and I'm sure it's true on the whole planet.

If your clean up sluice was 4 times wider you could process your material in 1/4 of the time , maybe more maybe less

Did you test the tailings well? The sluice might have been missing some.

What is not to bad for gold how do you quantify that ? . you need about a 100-200 colors to the pan to make it worth while to shovel in the area you are in
