Today on itSCOOTER3, my gold ranked journey starts off terrible. In Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel I have I am trying to use my HERO deck to the best of my abilities and see how far I can get in ranked, and well, today just wasn't my day. Let's watch and enjoy!

Destroying card does not equal to negation, unless the card effect states it.

yeahhhh...I get it now, the wording really matters with a lot of the cards. Like stuff that can't be destroyed can still be sent to the graveyard and stuff like it. Thanks!

Piloting to defeats regularly. DPE can destroy itself, which saves you from both ring of destruction and magic cylinder as long as you destroy the targeted hero.

Still remember in season 1 when my first deck got and got stuck on gold. Had to go Golden Lands/Drytron Herald to get through. Gold is like wishful thinking for your cherished deck(s) to just squeeze on by. Hard pill to swallow.

Attack with your hero first, if they target it, then mask change, if not get in your damage, then mask change in the middle of battle to deal out more damage.

Saw the other comment saying you're in plat, but you can usually get to mid-high Plat with any deck. As much as I dispise them, all you really need to do that is a couple of hand traps ( Maxx C./Ash/Nibiru) or hand trap hate (crossout designator/called by). Diamond and onward you have to have run meta or rouge meta hate with the above traps or trap hate. I've had a lot of success with Icejade and Water Umi/Kairyu-Shin control.

Also also, default picture with rescue rabbit are usually bots who are just there to farm xp.

@itSCOOTER3 Yes. They either just pass every turn, waste as much time as possible, or build a deck that tries to kill itself ASAP. Just farm's battle pass/account xp since you get xp for losses. I guess they could also be trying to rank up by surrenders, though that's less likely.

Your deck is pretty bad. One negate and you have to pass your turn. It’s not the rank that’s toxic but simply your deck not on par. If you played against me I would probably make you uninstall the game. I take no prisoners and take it as a personal insult whenever someone uses such a bad deck against me

@@itSCOOTER3 laughable. Plat for me doesn’t event warrant using my best deck. It’s just I look down on those in plat. Once I’m in diamond 1 I properly recognize the obstacles a duelist had to face to sore to those heights. And that’s when I take them seriously. I still leave nothing but a path of death and destruction, but in turn they earn something far more valuable. My respect…
