Thanks David! For maps I have a good collection of them though I end up printing Lidar maps for specific areas most of the time.

Great vid as usual! You're getting more comfortable filming stuff and it shows! Keep em coming! I'm just waiting on the right bit of weather, then going on a 3 hour hike to check out a stretch of river that has changed course for the first time in centuries meaning about 50 meters long exposed river bed is calling out to be panned :D

Not a bad take. Good on you for pressing on and finding it. That pyrite at the end of the vid on the left is Arsenopyrite. Very typical in gold bearing areas. Keep diggin'!!!
@northeastexpanse8 ай бұрын
Thanks! Molybdenite and Arsenopyrite are found in different areas of Vermont so you are on to something! Couple videos ago I found what I thought was molybdenite yet it had a sulfur smell on the streak test plate like arsenopyrite would 🤷♂️. Roger that, keep diggin’ 👊🏻🤠

As am Australian im envious of the snowy landscape as it looks amazing but i am not envious of having my hands in that freezing water. Lol Good stuff though, mate. Thats some nice colour
@northeastexpanse7 ай бұрын
You learn to tolerate the cold if you keep moving. Once you stop, the hands get cold though. I’ve seen videos of people prospecting in Western Australia and been like no way to that deadly 🥵 heat.

@@northeastexpanse it can get pretty nasty here in Victoria as well. I easily drink 4 liters of water a session which is usually 6 hours of work

Dig, dig, dig. I wouldn't have been able to climb the stairs at home. 😂 Just Kidding, pal. The gold flakes were beautiful. The piece to the left of the pyrite, I don't know either. Well done and best regards, Peter 🇩🇪⚒👍🤠

Dig dig Yessah! Those stairs felt like Mt Everest truth be told that part was filmed the next day but legs were heavy😂. Yeah the gold in Vermont is beautiful, it looks like butter 🧈. That piece has me stumped as well! Thanks Peter 👊🏻

Im in VT and new to prospecting, learning the ropes...what is the magnetic wand? is that just for testing areas for black sands? and is it DIY? Loving the videos!!

That was made by the company who makes the green mountain gold trap. I’ve been working on an invention as well that has a magnet yet is different. Thanks for watching 👊🏻

Get a new sluice box to get more gold! You lost more gold through that thing you are running.

I’m actually pretty confident in it. I’m guilty of slamming material through it though 😂. Just hyper I guess 🤠
