Years, and many other games ago, I remember watching playthroughs of the 1st edition and really wanting it. I never did end up pulling the trigger on it. A 2nd Edition and a JonGets Games playthrough. Hmmmm, I'm tempted all over again ...

I’ve been wanting to learn this game for a while especially because of the Dutrait art. So glad you posted this. I’m also a sucker for anything vaguely western. and Americana.

@47:00 (and earlier) - this turn you seemed to discount the idea of grabbing building materials. For example, you decided not to do a settlement so you preserve your wood for the next turn, but if you were willing to place a camp that isn't contiguous to your other camps, you could get a 3 building materials on the edge of the map elsewhere.

I was curious about this one but I was waiting for a playthrough teach. I personally want it but Idk if my table would be interested so I probably won't get it. I really liked Halloween and so does my table. Not so much The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and am very curious about Chucky so I'm excited to see you play/teach that one before I decide. I bought Halloween because of your video!

trying to convince myself I don't need a whole new version just for the mini-expansion...but I want it lol

Hey, it looks great. An easy and very replayable game. Thanks, John!

@44:55 - is there a reason you didn't consider the investment that costs 3 gold and 1 silver and yields 11 points plus what looks like a wood territory?

It's likely I just didn't notice the option, that does seem like a good idea.

At 39:55 you didn't put yellow silver track cart back in the right place.
