It’s amazing how Eterna continue quietly doing their business of making excellent watches that go by almost unnoticed. Most people don’t realise that Eterna kicked off the massive ETA movement machine that powers many of the world’s major Swiss brands. They are genuine superstar legends in the Swiss watch industry and been around since 1856, when Queen Victoria was a young woman, years before US civil war.

Great review! I have the same watch (no bracelet). My movement says "1412 DT" and the watch case is 35mm without counting the crown. When I check online, I find the 1412 DT to be from around 1952, but the serial number of 468K makes me think it's from the 1960s. Any thoughts on when my watch may have been made? It really is a stunning watch! Love the gold medallion on the back too.

I almost bought an Eternamatic but it wasn't signed "Swiss" on the dial and made me suspicious since I heard there was a few fakes out there. the seller assured me it was authentic

We are not sure if 100% of the original dials where signed Swiss, we always recommend to cross check with other models from trusted dealers
