Has anyone spoken to the Purdue players in the portal? I wonder if they feel that Walters was wronged by the University (not given more time) and that's why most seem uninterested in returning.

It seems like most of them are being sought after by teams that are more in a win-now mode. It's definitely a bummer but I can understand their side of it if that's the case.

Are the athletic facilities at Purdue comparable to the facilities at UNLV ? Build the Ross Ade Dome !

They better be! The Big Ten pulls in tons more money than the Mountain West. Although they now play in the Allegiant Stadium, which of course is a billion dollar dome where the Raiders play. UNLV just hired Mullen who used to coach Florida.

According to sources, the UNLV football facility was $35M. Kozuch, built in addition to Mollenkopf - was $65M. So make of that what you will.

Purdue's facilities are incredible. The new massive building was built in 2019 and Ross Ade Stadium has had some big changes in the past few years as well. I wish Purdue would do a better video on KZbin showing off the whole football facilities for recruits.

Tom/ Brian, Did you say Odom was not bringing his offense coordinator? Why that guy is in the running for assistant of the year! Help me understand this?

He promised a QB $100k+ NIL money without informing anyone else on the staff. QB didn’t get paid (because no one knew he was promised to be paid so high) and quit the team after 4 games to keep another year of eligibility. Odom was very upset with the OC.

@ if the QB is the reason they are not in the playoffs the OC is the reason he left UNLV so that would make perfect sense to me.

Brian: revenue sharing will not "normalize" it. College football/basketball are over at all levels below the very elite. Paying the HC well won't help when you can't outspend O$U, Meatchicken, or even IU for players. You and Tom need to be looking to make career changes ... cause GBI will be another one of the many causalities.
