@@zohaibkhilani4189 Mutazillah was not only rational instead it transgressed by preferring reason over revelation they claim the universe is eternal and God does not know or haven't knowledge of particular...both have been disproven by science one is for sure with the Big Bang and the other is supported by a lot of scientists like Elon musk says that there is 1 in 1 billion chance our world is base reality or not simulation...and what simulation theory says is that we are pre-programmed simulation ....these were top claims of mutazillah...Apart from that, there were many Ashariah Muslim scholars also like ibn al hythm who invented the scientific method and the father of modern optics was the greatest Muslim scientist along with Khawarizmi. who has an unknown creed... Ibn hathm opposed muta zillah openly and criticized the teachings of Greeks spread ikhtalaf only and he advocated for the scientific method...He says science is a long curve path but it will lead closer to truth...same is what al ghazzali meant...
