Here’s the secret to getting the good ending: for every hero break you break out of the spell during the course of the game (up to 3), that’s another continue you can lose before defeating the final boss and still get the good ending. So if you save 0, you can’t lose any continues before beating the final boss, if you save one hero you can lose one continue and before beating the final boss, etc.

Not really. You need to score 500 points before killing the first form of the boss. They are given for hitting enemies, on the normal it is very difficult to score so many (there are few enemies)

If I have to defeat the final boss (( Damned Hellstrike)) I have to use the normal combos then I use Kain Grinder's (( the blue warrior)) magic in full force

So you start the first fight and he has purple armor. Then his final form has red armor... he says "You should realize the power hidden within the Axe!" and then when you beat him, a big spirit leaves his body. Anybody else think "the power hidden within the Axe" was Death Adder possessing him and they just never got around to fleshing out the story?

Good Theory my dude! although this makes me even more disappointed that they didn't flesh out Damned Hellstrikes story and lore.

probably not since death adder isn't dead since he returns in golden axe revenge of death adder and golden axe the duel witch take place after this game

the only game i havent beaten in the series.... in the first 2 i could easily see the patterns that certain enamys did.... in this game however ... it felt like a cheap move spam buy the npc. however you have my respect for finishing the game. it just made me break game pads. the whole game seemed like a cheap trick tho..... like playing mk3 on arcades.
