Joan was never ready, she just wanted men to "see" her and chase her. She's looking for a carbon copy of her husband (!), an exciting life - and men in this age group are naturally slowing down, and so is she- she just hasn't become aware of it yet.

Charles looked better w natural hair color. Much respect to Pascal. Shame on Joan for saying she was interested in him when she really was never. She made it his fault … when did a man being honest deserve that? If she was interested, she would have asked Pascal for a makeover (get that stringy hair under control). Joan was great acknowledging families and individuals. But she can’t cope with life if she can’t cope with death - she has some emotional deficiency.

I think Joan will end up finding herself and not a man and that’s a great thing for her and every woman. I have thought for a while she will not end up with or continue to date any men from the show. I believe this journey was about her finding herself and her healing. When the time is truly right, she will find a man in her local area and they will enjoy their time and families together. The relationship won’t be from TV nor a challenging long distance relationship.
