Unless you have been privileged to have a special person such as these kiddos in your life, no one can truly knows how much effort goes into learning a routine like that for those sweet young ones. To be able learn that routine, remember it and perform it while on stage in front of all those people is an amazing thing to see! And they were so very happy during the audition you can’t help but wanna shout and dance with them. As a special education teacher and a mother of a special little angel with ads, this melts my heart and makes me so very happy! Twenty five years ago, these beautiful children were not even allowed in schools with other kids. Now..they are being given an education, working jobs and learning to live on their own. @@lindamulholland406 These kids were mediocre and should not have got a golden buzzer!!! They should have got through to the next round but should not have got a golden buzzer!!! This isn't inspiring for anyone it just shows go on BGT with a Disability and you'll more than likely get a golden buzzer!!! To fit in with other people they should be treated the same as other people on the show and not treated any better just because of their disabilities! Other acts have been on done the same similar style act and golden buzzer.... Yet they get a golden buzzer straight away that's not being treated equally!!

My late husband worked with a young man who had downsyndrom . This guy did his job and drove a truck for the company , so apparently he liked his job . Just because these kids got a golden buzzer , doesn't mean they'll win the million dollars . This was a feel good moment for them , and you want to squash it for them , how heartless are you ? Just asking .
@Mcsam66612 жыл бұрын
Some may say this was not deserved but I can tell u this now. Just because someone has a disability, does not mean it has to be perfect. This wasn't about perfection, synchronicity or skill. It was about the euphoria and joy they spread as well as proving that even if u have a disability (autism in my case), you can achieve anything you set your mind to. So stop with the "pity" or "they only got the golden buzzer because of their disability." This should be celebrated and admired. Absolutely well deserved golden buzzer.

That was my same thought. That Golden Buzzer was so worth it, just to see the joy on their faces. This is something each and everyone of them will never forget.

I don't doubt that, but what I'm slightly annoyed about is how the judges really only liked it cos 'they looked like they were having a great time', they never really said how it was talent-wise.

I'm disabled with learning difficulties and autism and found them rubbish.... It's pathetic and does not provide equality all this does is show oh disabled people better put them through..... Nothing else and that's the real truth...... If they really want to prove they can do anything no matter their disability then they should have been treated equally just like any other act and not given a golden buzzer as the act was mediocre... So no it wasn't a well deserved golden buzzer!!! It was a pathetic oh disabled people act get them straight through so we look good golden buzzer...... Two acts both perform the same audition one group is disabled the other group is not disabled... Both perform their audition doing the same thing... The non disabled group perform the best and are more suitable where as the disabled group don't perform well and aren't suitable.... I bet you would leave the suitable group right at the bottom and put the unsuitable disabled group straight to the top all because of their disabilities.... That's not equality for disabled people and that's all your doing....

Let's be honest, they only got golden buzzer for their disability. Not being harsh but they were out of sync most of the time, at least they tried though. If it were people without a disability doing this then they wouldn't have got through

I performed this solo and sang at the same time on bgt 2018 it is such an energetic song and the dance is not as easy as it looks I have the privilege of supporting talented adults in our opera house and Everyman in Cork They have so much creativity and talent .Two of our adult performers represented Ireland in Eurovision but got little to no coverage on media So I am overjoyed to see these group of 🎭 performers get the recognition they so deserved As is already stated the amount of practice and work to get these performers to this standard with what they have to over come cannot be underestimated. I thought they were the best act of the night
