I have two Goldens for the past two years and I absolutely LOVE them! However, they are very loud when they want attention. I take them out every day and they play rough! They love my wife more than me because she home all the time. They both have the bornavirus but it’s under control. I just have to keep an eye out for symptoms so they can be medicated. Love them very much!

@ParrotBliss he hasn't bitten or flew at my head in attack mode thank God. I am very cautious with him. I am working slowly with him. I say alot of prayers. I so don't want him to be a rescue bird. I love him, but I don't trust him. He watches me love on my other birds, especially my quaker. He acts like he wants lovies too when he watches, but nope, back off. I would settle for him just leaning on me getting warm.

How do you stop your conure from bitting all the time. Mine is over the hormonal period, yet he still wants to bit me when he sees skin?

@@ParrotBliss Hi. He is maybe 6 months old and he is GCC--pineapple. I got him from a pet store. He was wonderful, playful but once the hormones hit he bits me all the time. He will sit with me on my shoulder then take a bit off me on my neck and hands. he is out of his cage all day. pellets, fruits and veg's. and he is with me all day until I go to work at night. my husband is home all day and night.
