Golden Cygnet would have been one of the greats. He achieved a lot in his short career.

Arguably the most talented hurdler there would ever be had we got to see it. We will never know after the Scottish champion but what he did do till that point was light years better than the rest. RIP champ.

incredibly slowly run race,in those days top class jumpers would have lots of starts a season probably too many,in todays scenario Golden Cygnet would never have been running at Ayr and therefore wouldn't have been killed
