Golden Dawn Wool Blanket

So glad I found this! I bought a pair of plaid wool blankets at a thrift shop and they had no labels, but I found the same one on Ebay with a Golden Dawn label. They look and feel excellent. I hope I can find them in an old JC Penney catalog.

Just got one of these (the orange/red one on the right) yesterday at an Estate Sale got $18. Thought it was a crazy deal. It’s honestly way thicker than my 3 Pendleton wool blankets. But it shed a lot.

Great question. Yes, because they are both blankets...but also no, because they are not like each other. In the blanket ninja turtle family, wool is like Splinter, a little rough around the edges, stinky, but more durable. Fleece is like Michelangelo, can be cool, but a little soft sometimes, but at least he dries quickly. 👍
