About the winrate going into playoffs, the fault is the 8/10 teams getting in, just by math alone it would be insanely unlikely for the 8 team to have 40% winrate, you will need for the 9 and 10 team to be absolute trash and for the top teams to not dominate the region for the 8 team to achive that winrate.

If RNG loses against EDG they COULD go to the bottom of regionals, but they are still very likely to be in the upper bracket of regionals, since they have 90 points from Spring. Only(!) way they end up in lower bracket is EDG first, JDG second, V5 third, TES fourth if I am not mistaken.

I believe C9 is underrated considering they got 2 laneswaps and an unretirring Jensen, with by far the least practice time in LCS. I think playoffs will help show their strengths, and the preptime will give them good practice weeks.

I remember hoe Clutch Gaming was known as a counter to TSM and with that narrative we had a good reason to watch what at times was basically the 10th place team go against the 1st place team and be able to predict the upset from happening without it being disappointing or a mistake from the 1st place team. Wouldn't be surprised is the reason that stopped being a possible talking point was because some back room phone calls made by Regi more than the League thinking the outcomes of games was more so based on the high quality of games our teams always seem to bring to the fans. 🤡

Players aren’t in form because of riot and “Durability update”. I don’t care what anyone says or how much complaining people wanted to do about damage before that change but that change ruined the excitement and firepower of the game. In pro AND casual play.

Mainly I’m speaking on what may be causing the decline of players who were known for being outplay centred and explosive, the durability update has severely nerfed solo kill feasibility and singular players being lethal in a stand out way within a match. That’s my answer for why they are confused why players such as Showmaker/Chovy/Canyon etc aren’t playing as well, because they were always known as players with those qualities to begin with. It’s just durability update made team play even more of a thing now than it had been before, and solo play has diminished as a consequence.
