Labradors too I had a lab as a kid and I was playing tag with a friend, I ended up screaming when I got tagged and the dog nipped my friend's hand (didn't break skin, both him and his parents understood) That was the only time he ever growled

I think German shepherd's are even more loving & smart. I've owned a German shepherd & a Rottweiler and both were extremely smart but the shepherd would have to be by my side every step lol. If I get up to go to the bathroom he follows me and stands by the door for when I get out. He is the best. I've owned a golden before and he was actually not that good. Was snappy at others & food aggressive but yet I could take a big meat bone away from my Rottweilers mouth & no issues. Same with the shepherd but the golden would snap. My Rottweiler & shepherd was sooo good with kids too. The golden use to get jealous of kids & nip them BUT I've had another golden a few years later who was good but still didn't compare with my rotty & shepherd

The concern with this video is the small child at the beginning putting her face to the dogs face and wrapping her arms around the dog. Those are aggressive behaviors to a dog and are dangerous. Yes, it’s a Golden, one of the sweetest breeds, but even if it does not react badly, it is behavior a dog puts up with but does not enjoy. The handler should have corrected the little girl to show her how to correctly engage a dog. Even if it worked out fine here, next time with another dog it may not have a happy ending. 4.5 million people are bitten by dogs every year in the US, most of whom are children.

*It is sad, so the BEST thing we should do is to* *go places where both of you can have fun,* *take photos as much as you can* *while creating good memories and* *cherish every moment while they are still here* *so that if they're gone, you will not regret anything.* *I'm saying this 'cause obviously this is not just applicable for our dogs but for our love one's also. ☺️*

i dont own a K9 but the 4 i go visit love more than their owners i think , cause when i visit i take the dog out for steak or burgers or icecream and a walk in the woods , and when i need to borrow a puppy to help with my PTSD , the owners let me stay at their homes and i have slept in a garage kenel with a K9 , i have slept in a dog house in the yard during winter with a K9 and the owners found me in the morning cause their dog would not leave me alone , i am greatfull that when i have sever nighmares that i can just go and crawl up next to a dog to be able to sleep , in 2 months i will be starting to take a friends K9 to PTSD classes to get him certified , and as i have learned that some K9s are just natural at sencing that a human is in need too

I don’t know Oshie personally… but I am sad for him when he misses his Mom; and I’m happy for Oshie when Oshie is happy. He had so much love in his heart ☺️
