”Golden Rot was formed during the spring of 2022 by the guitarists and lead vocalists Pauliina Vuolanne and Ville Haavisto. What started out as a duo, quickly grew into a strong four-piece band with the reinforcement of Olli Paajanen (bass) and Samuel Arola (drums).
Their down-tuned modern metal rings out with a fresh blend of influences from metalcore, 90's alternative, progressive metal and early 2000's catchy radio rock. The versatile mix of the male and female lead vocals is distinguishable, including powerful screaming vocals as well as melodic cleans - and a lot more tones in between.”
