Golden Sun: Dark Dawn Gameplay - Ending [Part 76]

Ending of Golden Sun: Dark Dawn for the Nintendo DS.
My game time is 20 hours and 50 minutes, without sidequests completed. If you do the sidequests before finishing the game I suspect it will be around 25 or so hours.
Overall, I think the game is great. It captures a good "Golden Sun" feel from the first two games of the series. However, much of the game's features were copied from Golden Sun and Golden Sun: the Lost Age such as items and summons. I think Camelot did a very good job with the visuals and especially the music is pretty amazing. The story and background could use a bit more work, as I think this game lacks a lot of direct connection with the last two games on GBA. If I were to rate this game I will give it a 9 out of 10.
I hope that you will try the experience for yourself when the game is released in North America on November 29th and in Europe on December 10th. I highly recommend this game if you're a fan of the Dragon Quest series, the Final Fantasy series and what can I forget, the first two Golden Sun games.

This game was amazing enough! I kept playing it over and over again only to see if there was a second ending...but it is the same. If they do have a sequel I will gladly forfeit my dimeric for it, nds or 3ds!

Man, Golden Dark Dawn Story is so... terrible compare to Golden 1 and 2. You see, too much sidetracked! First, we haven't done Isaac's request about the soaring. So the feather in our pocket is not use at all? And we can't return to our hometown to see our parents? Wow, I'm sure they are so worried about us now! Alex and his son- Amiti... Pier and Rief's sister... Well, Rief's sister really disappears! She goes with Pier and I guess we have no chance to see Pier and Rief's sister again!

oh, and personally, i am kinda pissed of because i was hoping that in this game we would finnaly get the chance to beat the crap out of alex...ya, blados and the chick were cool but...i WANT TO POUND THE COOL MERCURY DUDE! Well, anyway, at least the game was great (8.8 for me) living to the previous and they made Isaac a badass....just don't leave golden sun resting for many years kay camelot?

Ok, let's recap...the game had very nice grafics, a cool sound (although not as good as the others), great play and an ok story that isn't better because once more, like in gs1, camelot fucks us because there's another sequel coming...ok, so i don't mind being fucked for that.

I really hope they make a sequel but fast. :) I just beat the game and I got "The End...?" what does that mean? do I have to get the rest of the summons or something? I have all the djinn though.

@AngelDrive9 why would you not want more gs games? even at the end of tla there were so many mysteries left open. what would be life with golden sun? what weyard true size is? what was the luna symbol representing in sol sanctum? what are the use of alchemy? why the wise one?. why people feared alchemy? what is philosopher stone? at foot of Gaia falls? Imbued goldensun power into both isaac and alex, what kind of power they'd have? i could go on. I was pissed at tla ending.

I still stick by my theory that everything in this game is Tyrell's fault... especially since the group would have never set out and be tricked by Alex to do his bidding to begin with... The game could have been over before it started if Tyrell hadn't broken the Soarwing... >_> So who else wants to kill the lug? :P -T-

@gudenruben I wanted to play with Alex so bad then I was completely disappointed when he was permanently a bad guy. So you know Amitis will be on my team permanently, along with the girl that changes into a wolf since she uses knuckles and claws and their unleashes look amazing!

@Lylirium they alreasy have the story ready for us, the sequel might be delayed due to actual release of 3ds. devs might want to add some cool motion features and psynergy based 3D effect in their next game as they were excited by 3ds' launch

@ToaOnichu Wait a sec...could the Wise One have been behind the vortexes? Because he may not have forgiven the Warriors of Vale for unleashing the Golden Sun, and maybe the vortexes were created as an attempt to negate the effects of the Golden Sun.

Agree, except for the summons part, they should stay, like, summons, it is ok if a Guardian is a random Monster! I only wish for new Summons, Keep the origina from GS1 drop the other 14 and make newer ones Camelot!!!

Please dont make the sequel only for 3ds...I actually loved this first part. If you think about it ... How the hell are they going to make the 2nd part with all of the story involved in this and what characters will they use?

Sort of an ominous ending with that last Psynergy Vortex. From what I gathered, wasn't the whole game based on getting rid of those things?
