I had to go to the furthest small lake very top/middle of the map to find my diamond trout. I wish I knew about this spot. That uncharted lake was a 2 mile walk and took forever to reach.

The lake you went to 3rd was the only one of the 3 I have been to. Got there because of the mission to get Silver Ohrid Trout. Have not managed a single Ohrid Trout but Lots of Gold ranked Golden Trout. Haven't found a Dime yet but will need to get a size 4 spoon. I have been camped at this spot for days as it is so easy to catch fish there.
