You can ignore the first guard and just slap the second guard (with the key) once.

I got 1:27, and 1:23 A LOT. Then I got 1:19 twice in a row (don't know why I tried it again). I'd say the hardest bit is quickly knocking out the two guards at the beginning and not having the first guard at the top of the stairs with the two Klobbs shoot you directly, because that forces you back. Otherwise being shot from behind can be good, it propels you forward. Randomly there's a soldier in the safe room that can cause issues. See, for me that time is tight. I get the feeling that the speed runners probably got 1:05 to 1:16.

I swear you and I experienced a very identical experience! I ended up getting a 1:19 as well I was so hype. The best I got before that was 1:24 and I got 1:25 another time 😂

@@anthonymelendez5771 The worst part is, I found out later, you don't even need to knock out both guards at the beginning. Just the guy on the right who has the key. Could have saved two or three seconds right there. Re-did it and got 1:16. 😛

it seems to just be luck. you have to really move without any sutters or stuck opening doors. moving without any firearms gives you a slight edge. and close the door once mishkin starts talking as well. i got to him with no guards in the room and made it on the third try at exactly 1:20.

Try not to use your gun if you're still having trouble with guards rushing the safe room. They are drawn a lot less to you if you never fire before getting to Mishkin

It's all random. Guards can sometimes hit you or not notice you at certain times.

There's many variables to consider. If the AI sees you if it shoots to slow you or push you from shots behind, if an enemy doesn't die with the right shots, how long Alec 006 takes to see you to start walking etc. Alot of random events have to go your way for a really good time. But these tips can help. Glad you got it. 😁
