Kinda makes me feel like she was selfish and count in that once again, she didn't save her son in the fire. If Fireheart didn't *care* than Bramblestar wouldn't have been. Makes you really look at her decisions when talking about kits. //Sasha knew her children were in good paws since she trusted Leopardstar, and since the incident with Tadpole (not her fault, her kits ran off while she was trying to catch them food) she didn't want her children to end the same way. Goldenflower however had no excuse to forget about her son while the fire was happening in the camp, NO EXCUSE. Her son literally almost died if the branch under Fireheart would have given up. She seems to forget about a lot of things and throws responsibility on other cats without a valid reason. Sasha's reason was because the clans were safer than if her kits would travel with her.//

For me Goldenflower won it both rap and plot-wise. Goldenflower is completely unproblematic: loved and protected her kits, didn't care about Tigerstar since he turned out to be a dick, while Sasha has a whole manga book about her questionable decisions.

I know this comment is older, but here I am. Sasha was staying with a twoleg on some boat in the second manga. She had security, warmth, and guaranteed food. God knows why, she left to take care of her kits in the woods where she KNOWS she wasn’t adapted along with the fact that Tigerstar was in there doing all kinds of wicked shit (she didn’t know he died till after her kits were born..) That’s selfish as hell. She could have taken them to the forest when they were older. Shnuky offered her shelter before. Why couldn’t Sasha just go to her? Her choice was stupid. Sasha left guaranteed security to risk it in the forest. With nobody around, which could have *easily* been prevented, she went to hunt for the kits. They ran off to try and cheer their mother up, but Tadpole died. Yes, Tadpole’s death is why I despise Sasha, oops. Sasha gets offered shelter by her friend AGAIN, but she says no. Sasha gives her kittens to RC, but then ditches them because of judgement over them being Tigerstar’s kittens. N o, you stay with your kids through hard times. Sure, having a loner mother in a clan where that’s frowned upon sucks, but literally having no mother is worse. They didn’t even want her to leave. That would have been one thing if they did. Mothwing became the best Riverclan medicine cat ofc, but Hawkfrost literally became evil and died at a year old. That’s obviously isn’t her fault, but she could have at least tried to be there for him to try and sway him from that path. In general, Sasha was an awful mom.
