Goldenrod grows all over North America in sunny open areas. It blooms in late Summer to early Autumn with bright golden-yellow flowerheads.
The flowers and leaves are edible, but can be very bitter. Because of its similar flavor to Parsley, today I made a simple Chimichurri type sauce with Goldenrod flowers, Garlic, Olive Oil and Lemon Juice.
