GOLDFINGER (1964) - Original Swiss Filming Locations (2022)

In celebration of this year's 60th anniversary of the James Bond Film Franchise, i decided last month to go on the trail of Bond... James Bond! To track down as good as possible the exact swiss filming locations of the classic Bond movie "GOLDFINGER". After several trips to Andermatt, Furka Pass and Stans this is what came out of it.

Great video, thanks for sharing! I find it's always interesting to see how much or how little a location has changed over the years. I was lucky to visit back in 2019 (as part of a group celebrating the anniversary of OHMSS) and took in these locations - we visited the site of the Auric Enterprises factory and found Bond's vantage point high in the hills, but were discovered just as we were leaving - the farmer wasn't happy, so we made our apologies and promptly left 😂

Perfect job, locating all these iconic places!! Thank you! If I were the owner of the gas station I would not have changed it a bit and made it into a pelgrimage destination and allows tourist to make exact photographs of the scene there.

Yup, I've been on all those passes around Andermatt on my motorcycle back in 1996, 2002 and 2022. I also remember filling up at the Shell gas station back in 1996 as you enter Andermatt coming from Hospental. Later at the Shell gas station next to the Coop in town when the other one closed.

This is one thing I absolutely love about old movies, no green screens and the location are actually there and you can visit them… Now I‘m really thinking about going on holiday there but I have to say I‘m kinda afraid of the cost and the speeding tickets. I don’t speed but here in Germany everyone says going to swiss is very expensive if you’re not extremely careful.

興味深い再現をありがとう。レンズの画角に改良の余地がある気がする。ヘアピンカーブのシーンは櫓の上にカメラを乗せて撮影されたらしい。完全に再現するにはドローンが必要かもしれない。
