I grew up in Colorado, too, and you've probably heard the old saying, "If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute". The latest I ever remember it snowing, on the front range, was June 20th!

There’s a great spot over looking twin lakes on blm just past the south Elbert trailhead turn left. Then take the next left. You’ll love it. Google maps shore pretty observation site then the “next left” was talking about is just 100 ft up from that. It will be your prettiest camp site yet. Promise

Great attitude. It was a long ass winter, the trees aren't even fully leafed out yet.... at this point, I would be a fully broken human if I woke up to ❄ anytime between now and November. lol But, Snuggle up, Enjoy your day Cheers

I've got the reverse here in S. Dakota, 93 degrees yesterday and there was snow just a week ago. I think May weather is pretty unsettled almost everywhere.
