In this video I give you a brief look at the new carbon arrow I have chosen to shoot for the 2015 season. The GoldTip "Traditional" 500 spine carbon arrow with 175 grains of head weight.

Been shooting these GT Trads for about 5 years now, and these are the only ones I would ever shoot. Extremely tough and true.

I’ve shot them for years out of all kinds of trad bows including selfbows. They are hard to beat.

Hmmm I’m 50lb @ 30” draw and no matter how I factor my tip weight these are still too weak for me. Even with a 85gr tip and ultralight 11gr insert. Wondering how you’re able to make them work. With your specs I would think you’re a 400 spine minimum

I subscribe to this, GTs are really, really tough arrows! Quick question: are those arrows a little under spined, or it is just me seeing them steer a little bit to the right?

I saw the same thing! The hard tail kick to his left. Paper tuning reveals all

I have a 35# Bear Grizzly recurve and am looking to get these arrows very soon. This is my first recurve, and your video along with others makes me want to settle with this arrow. Do you think 31" at 500 spine with 125gr tips would work well with my setup? My draw length is 29". This arrow setup apparently would work according to 3Rivers spine arrow calculator, but 400 spine is recommended on the Gold Tip Spine chart. I have a couple different tips to get the arrow to fly straight if need be aside from tuning the actual bow. Great video by the way! Thanks,

I bought 500 spine but i have a 32 inch draw out of my 50 pound recurve is it to light for me I don’t want a arrow to blow up. I use full length

You know...... if you took arrows from the top 10 manufacturers, same spine, point, fletching, FOC arrow weight in grams and did a blind rest, nobody knew who made what arrows I doubt almost nobody could tell the difference between them in terms of performance. It's all just marketing that people fall for.
