Thats definitely too much slack on the left side! It's gonna skip some teeth and could destroy ur engine mate. Loosen the left belt tensioner, then turn the crank clockwise. So that the belt is straight and has no slack. Then tighten belt tensioner againer, right bolt first.

Thank you for the video. check out youtuber Maurice Gardinier "Changing the timing belts on my GL1000 Goldwing" (minute 6:00) he made a neat tool to keep slack on that right side belt

@@codyeyres2805 If he had the instruction it explains how to rotate the crank 360 degrees to adjust right side and then 360more for left side. Either way there should only be 1/8 to 3/16s of deflection with 4 pounds of downforce. Another way would be to hold back the lifter spring tension on the cam pully and adjust that way.
