I found a guy who opens a hole, cleans all rust and close the hole again, ha has make hundreds and says he does not need any foam covering tank later, you only have to mantain full filled tank to avoid rust again.....I hope this will work

My tank was coated already, just full of dirt. You want to coat the inside with the silver stuff, because ethanol will rust it again, unless you buy ethanol free fuel, which is hard around where I live.
