Looks like the idea of waiting a bit after the event starts before participating to avoid the higher skill players is working. I thought that might be the case but after seeing earlier videos like Mogwai's where every opponent already was rocking the 5 win trophy seems to support the theory.

Yeah it was low skill overall this morning for me. Only meta deck was one pikachu that threw hard.

I beat the challenge yesterday with golem and dugtrio. Counters most meta decks well.

Tried using the Onix Fossil deck and got my ass handed to me. Glad to see some successes with off-meta decks like this

This just helps reaffirm my point that all these "meta" decks are only meta because there easy and skilled players can win with almost anything. Because no matter what you say golem aint that good of a card lol

I won easy with a stripped down blaine deck. Just two ninetails and rapidash lines, draw cards, gios, sabrinas, blaines, x speeds.

100 HP is more consistent than 70 depending on a coin flip. Survives circle circuit without giovanni

@@halcyonacoustic7366 the dug3 feels like it can win on its own if you’re lucky. I view it like 2-3 protect turns in vgc, and for a 4 energy finisher time and stall are needed.

I used a greninja, starmie ex, articuno ex, and gyrados with double mistys and whooped that challenge easily. I can also tell they nerfed misty lol sooo many tails it makes me have to play as though it wouldnt work
