Golf 7 2.0 TDI 150hp remap to 185hp, acceleration

I have map of this car, original and remaped. Expected performance should be about 185hp( GTD is 184hp). Dpf and cat still on.
Can be done with kess clone 5.017 only if you find suitable file. You need to find ID with kess then find virtual file. Virtual file can be flashed with kess clone with obd. I have tested.
One thing about shifting gears!! Peak power is at 4000 rpm. If gear is changed at 4000rpm, next gear is at idk, about 2800rpm which is not peak power. If i change on 4500, next gear is at 3300rpm and closer to peak power. And yes, I should rather change gears on 4300-4600rpm, rather than 4800-5000rpm.

I hate to say it, but revving past 4,000rpm in a diesel is silly. Change up just before and you’ll get a better 0-100

Yes for stock car! No for tuned car. Preference tuning increases power at higher rpm, to avoid clutch problems at lower rpm.

@@antovrbat9946 Still it can’t be very good revving that high in a diesel. I’m stage 1 on my MK7 2.0TDI diesel sitting about 210hp. There’s a lot more power over 4000rpm that stock but I feel like it’s bad for the engine. If I’m gunning it I typically change bang on 4,000

Oof im changing gear in my cr150 (now 200bhp) at 3900rpm roughly. No wonder this looked slow, these engines run out of puff above 4k

Plug ins are hella dodgy, I’d rather take it to a proper tuner and let them do their thing for extra few $$$

Some plug ins are dodgy, I have used a few over the years and they have been great. So much simpler than the hassle of a remap. I went with a tunit model on my Audi A3 170 cr tdi quattro. It's Brilliant. Every bit as quick as it's advertised 200 hp and 300 lbs ft. I've got GPS timing gear that I bought to use on a different car a few years ago and did standard vs tuning box. Standard was 7.62s to 60 mph, and 6.74 with the box, same conditions, same road. Again watch what make you get, I've used blue spark, racechip and tunit. All are good. Obviously a custom remap will be better but these boxes are under £200

You can! Increased fueling on higher rpm brings more power rather than torque, but also higher EGT which is problematic for stock turbo.

Bu 2.0 TDI 150hp dynograph’a bakarsan ozaman en fazla guc’e 3600 devir de sahip olduğunu görursun. Zaten torque 3000 devirden sonra dusuyor. 4000 devirden sonra tamamen dusmeye basliyor. Sonuçta uzerindeki Bm70B turbo kucuk bir turbo. Erken spool ve erken guç kayip’a sahip. Bu arada, dizel asıl tork ile gider. Guç/hp ile de bir motor daha yuksek hızlara çikar. Madem soruyorsun buna sahip değilse konuşma diye. Bu motordan bende var, hatta yazilimli ve 200hp ve 450nm tork’a sahip. Merak ettiğin veya sormak istediğin birşey varsa sor, çekinmene hiç gerek yok güzel kardeşim

@@nstipet Svaki se egr zatvara kad je 100% gas, tako je nastimano u mapi tvornicki. Nemoj ga zatvarat, po zimi ce ti se duze zagrijavat, pogotovo na kratke relacije, a i potrošnja će ti porasti. To se nekad zatvaralo kad su stvarali problemi na 1.9 tdi pogotov na ALH motorima. DPF vadi, to definitivno.
