Golf 7 GTI DSG resonator delete mic outside very loud

I've done the res delete and can I tell you that it's louder so anyone thinking it's no different think again, sounds way better even at 2000 rpm sweet spot hits after 3000rpm but you can hear the GROWL POPS AND BANGS as the dsg box shifts, so best advice do the res delete first DO NOT DO A MUFFLER DELETE IT SOUNDS ABSOLUTELY CRAP

@@Nielson15 and it's the mid box not the rear, the mid box removal is quite easy and with that alone removed you get enough PROPER noise no drone

Sounds awesome, how is it on the highway just cruising? Any bad drone? I am looking for a Mk7 exhaust that wont piss of neighbours when I cold start early in the morning like my Miata does, but gives me a little more sound and character when driving spiritedly!

Hehehehe hey Robby, Robby here from South Africa. Just did a res delete on mine 60min ago. Yes....yes........uhm.....yes bad ass AF now. Although I feel like there's a slight power loss although the throttle is much lighter/smoother. Buuuuut it's only been an hour. Hopefully when you respond I will have settled into the new character of my baby.

@@robbylebotha yeah you definitely do lose a bit of power low end because you lose some pressure but you gain some high end

@@manny.mp4 3 years later, still have the same baby, haven't and won't do any other mods. Just had turbo seals replaces after getting a whole oil explosion out the exhaust. All is well, great power still. The only serious complaint I have about the Mk7 Gti is the waterpump/thermostat crapping out alot. Still keeping my baby but will be adding a 2016 S3 in December. Then I'm done with hothatches.

Yes only the resonator its a very cheap mod.

0:24 what an awkward sound. Seriously, the Volkswagen group did a way better sounding DSG-fart on their 1.4 Twinchargers. Sounds more bassy instead a mild breeze. Still can't get it that people are liking this xD...
