Great video mate, as a track enthusiast you can push the R much more than you did but I fully understand that holding back is better for the tires breaks and essentially the life of the car. It could have been very close though, the RS may have more power but on a track the difference is so subtle that it goes down on pure skill. One more thing pay attention to the RPMs, when you were accelerating after a few corners you were at a gear disadvantage so be sure to downshift when you hit around 3700 rpm on 1-4th gear. Focus RS is original level engine mapping ;) It has an upgrade of the frame and some performance parts but not reprogrammed. She goes out 330 horsepower and it is a strength. The handling of the Golf is impressive , we see the effectiveness of the 4motion ! Beautiful smooth drive anyway and a nice duel!

the RS's cornering ability is the trump card. clearly the R is not as confidence inspiring to this driver. unless the RS driver is simply more experienced

Nice ride, maybe i will buy the gti clubsport, should i go with manual or dsg? I have a scirocco R with DSG and sometimes it itching to go back manual....

I would go for a DSG again. The Manual is maybe more driving fun, but in case you think of a tune, you should keep in mind that the clutch will slip and also needs to be upgraded. Almost all R with a tune and manual have this kind of problem

I'd guess that it's on the right of the passenger headrest. It's very wide-angle, too.

The new one looks great (i also liked the previous ones) only the interior is not so pretty... And that there is no dual clutch transmission is a bit disappointing. Performance wise it will be hard to keep up for the golf
