x out golf balls are basically balls that had cosmetic defects, that prevented them from being sold the same as golf blass with no imperfections. I was also told one, x out balls were also golf balls are balls that were used on a range at a pga event, gathered back up, and sold as no longer new (I have never ben able to confirm it.
